Making a Homemade Pizza at Our Apartments in Gainesville, FL

Pizza is a food most everyone enjoys. While its roots lie in Italy, pizza has become a worldwide indulgence for all. Nowadays, there’s nearly no limit to what you can put on your pizza, especially if you make it homemade. Making a homemade pizza at your apartment is fairly easy and can be a fun process of discovering new flavors and toppings that you may have not thought to try before.

To get started on your homemade pizza, here are the ingredients you will need:

    • Pizza dough
    • Tomato sauce (or you can experiment with other types of sauce like barbecue or alfredo)
    • Your choice of shredded or sliced cheese
    • Your choice of toppings (some common ones include pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and ham, but feel free to mix it up with something different, like pineapple or avocado)

First, preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Then, roll out the dough using your hands or a rolling pin to flatten it until it is ¼-inch thick or less. (You can sprinkle the dough with flour if it feels too sticky to handle.) Next, spoon a few tablespoons of tomato sauce (or other sauce you’d like to try) in the center of the dough and use the back of the spoon to spread it around the entire pizza. After that, add cheese and any toppings you’ve chosen. Lastly, pop the pizza in the oven and bake until the crust is golden brown. You can choose to place it on a greased baking sheet or slide it right onto the oven rack for a crunchier crust. Once it has cooled for a few minutes, slice and serve!

“The scenery and space is amazing. The apartment leasing staff and maintenance staff are wonderful. I love that its a gated community and all though it's family and student oriented it's still extremely quiet.”

“We just moved in about a month ago. We had maintenance in so many times trying to get things set up for my disabled son - but they never complained. The grounds are beautiful. The people in the office are always polite and helpful. Very happy here.”
