Having the right tools for the pool area can help both you and other members of our community enjoy this wonderful amenity comfortably.

First and foremost, don’t forget to bring a towel. Swimmers will want to be able to dry off, and it’s courteous for anyone fresh out of the water to put a towel on any chairs they plan to use, to help keep it dry for others who may want to use it later. Those sticking to dry land may also want to bring a towel to dry off potentially wet seats, act as a pillow, or simply shade their eyes while they are in the sun. Towels are also a convenient way to wrap up and carry all of your belongings, saving you the trouble of dealing with a bulky bag.

Sunscreen is also essential, whether you’ll be spending time in the water or not. Be sure to choose one with appropriate SPF, generally 30 and higher, and be sure to reapply regularly, every two hours or so. A final item it’s smart to bring is drinking water or another refreshing beverage.
