Supporting Local Causes near Our Gainesville Apartment Community

There are plenty of opportunities to help our community. With just a little effort, we can all do some research and find ways to honor, support, and give to organizations that are committed to helping others. Here are just a few ways you can practically and simply help those around you.

• Donate that leftover furniture, gently worn clothing, and any expendable household items to a local donation center. Your local Goodwill retail and drop-off center is only about 3 miles away from our Gainesville Florida apartments.
• If you are an animal lover at heart, think about supporting the Gainesville Pet Rescue. You can help by volunteering your time, making a monetary donation, or adopting one of their cuddly critters (just let your apartment management office know before you bring in a new pet). The Gainesville Pet Rescue is a non-profit organization located less than 2 miles from our community.
• Consider helping families in your city get a hand up, not a hand out, from Habitat for Humanity. Building economical homes for struggling families nationwide, Habitat depends on the generosity of brawny volunteers, people who donate money, and those who drop-off items for their thrift store. Your local Habitat for Humanity office and thrift store is just under five miles from Bellamay Grand.
